The Author
Carolyn Kluckhuhn Long is a journalist and photographer, poet, educator, professional public speaker and sometime windsurfer. An entertaining and inspiring professional keynote speaker, her many regional and national TV and radio appearances and articles give her an enthusiastic following.

Her mission is to connect people to the ideas, people and resources that will enable them to lead more joyful, balanced and fulfilling lives.

As ghost writer to her dog, the author of the forthcoming book, A Dog’s Guide to Training Owners by Shannon the Dog, as told to Carolyn Long, Pratt Publishing, Inc., 2006, Carolyn speaks on the secrets of canine wisdom. In this humorous, inspirational, vignette-style book, Shannon teaches her fellow canines how to train owners in the things that really matter—especially to dogs. Carolyn’s background as business and health writer, PR consultant, entrepreneur, college and TV instructor, and marketing director for divisions of two Fortune 500 companies enables her to address a wide variety of issues.
